6-7 If we claim that we experience a shared life with him and continue to stumble around in the dark, we’re obviously lying through our teeth—we’re not living what we claim. But if we walk in the light, God himself being the light, we also experience a shared life with one another, as the sacrificed blood of Jesus, God’s Son, purges all our sin.


The law of love that Jesus introduced to us demonstrates God’s unconditional love toward us and also calls us to the same standard with one another.  When people see our love, they will be impacted by our life.  It takes Grace to form and maintain relationships and fellowship in truth; and God will never ask us to do more than He has already done for us.
